Description
Out there in Driftwood, Texas since 1967. In 1967, my father and mother. Thurman Roberts, Sr. & Hisako T. Roberts, started the Salt Lick Bar-B-Q restaurant on the ranch where he was born and raised. Why I did they choose Salt Lick for it's name? It happened that the large rocks on the ranch were very attractive to the local deer as they would gather around and lick salt and minerals found in the rocks as well as this spot was also a popular gathering spot for the local ranchers, Thus the name The Salt Lick. The stones of the Salt Lick building were quarried from that very land. Everything was done with their own hands - building and cooking with care and love resulting in a pride in it's quality and the satisfaction of a job done right. With all that same love and care for quality that they had, we continue that tradition and bring this offering. Please enjoy as it would make them very proud and you very happy! Sincerely, M. Scott Roberts.Ingredients
