Ingredients
5 cups pared, sliced apples
2 refrigerated pie crusts
2/3 cup sugar
1 Tbs corn starch
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1-2 Tbs butter
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Follow directions on refrigerated pie crust packaging and roll out one pie crust. Place pie crust into the bottom of a pie pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix apples with sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon. Toss to coat.
  4. Put apples into pastry-lined pan. Dot with butter.
  5. Cover with 2nd crust, crimp as needed. Cut slits in top crust to allow it to vent as it cooks.
  6. Bake for 40-60 minutes or until filling bubbles and crust is golden.
